Color Run

Courtnie decided a color run was an easy item to add to her bucket list. Today we had the chance to take it off the list :). I didn't understand the reason for the water at the beginning but it made the color powder stick much better. I pushed the boys in the stroller while Courtnie ran with Baxter. We had to run a little ways before the first color booth then they were spread throughout the race. By the end we were pretty well covered. Jax got out at all the color stations so he could be colorful too. He ran the last stretch with us to cross the finish line. They did the color explosion by bringing everyone together to throw color into the air at the end. It was hard not to breathe it in but once the dust settled it was pretty cool looking. We had a great time and got some fun pics. Everyone thought the kids were cute but really got a kick out of Baxter covered in colors.

They had other activities in the park for RiverFest so we walked around all covered in color getting funny looks and comments on our kids and dog :).  It was a fun day!

We were pretty hot and sweaty by the end so we ran through the water a couple of times.
