Jax, Ryker, and I left for Idaho a few days ahead of Luke so I could attend James' sealing to Zach and Jayme. It was such a special experience. I'm so glad I was able to be there to see James become an eternal member of our family.
Since I was there early I was able to go to the Mackay Christmas party which is always fun. Jax had so much fun playing with Claire and Grayson.
Jax thought this stick horse was awesome. He was so excited. I won Luke a Star Wars crochet kit in the white elephant exchange. Now one of us has to learn how to crochet.
We go to meet Drew and Morgan's Ruby finally. Texas is too far away!
Luke joinded us just in time for our annual Chinese Christmas Eve dinner. We put the boys to bed and watched A Muppet's Christmas Carol before heading to bed ourselves. Jax was pretty excited for Christmas morning and had to go jump on Grandma and Grandpa to wake them up. We even got poor Baxter involved in the Christmas fun.
The first present Jax opened was a lightsaber and it took a lot of coaxing to get him to open any more. Let the Star Wars Christmas begin.
Ryker was pretty excited about his lightsaber as well.
After Jax opened all of his presents he would come up and whisper "I need more presents." He helped Luke, Ryker, Lindsey, Brett, and I open all our presents. After we told him there weren't any more to open he said "OK. Santa come tomorrow." Silly boy.
Ryker was more interested in eating the wrapping paper and ribbons than any presents.
The boys loved their Christmas crepes.
Ryker's birth family came to say hello. Jax was excited to have new people to have a lightsaber battle with.
We had a great time with my family before heading off to spend the rest of Christmas break with Luke's family.
