Trick-or-Treat

We had a lot of fun this Halloween season. There were many parties and family time. We had pumpkin pizza and lots of candy.
The pumpkins got carved a little late but we did it. The boys thought is was pretty cool but they both refused to touch the guts. Since our costume theme this year was Star Wars that what our pumpkin theme was too. Once the candles went in and the lights went out, Jax and Ryker thought they were the best things ever. Star Wars pumpkins for the win!

Our local college had a family fun night Halloween party. It was a little small, but the boys still had a great time. Especially after they won cupcakes at the cake walk. The best part were the balloons we snagged on our way out the door. Ryker was pretty devastated when they popped a few days later.

I got to help out in Jax's classroom for his very first school party. They sang songs, played games, and got some treats. It's so fun to watch him becoming a big boy.
Normally our church has a annual Halloween party but decided to forgo it this year, so Luke and I decided to thrown one instead! We had chili and cornbread for dinner, some games, and ended the night with a trunk-or-treat. Jaxon found a girl dressed as Rey and they fought lightsabers the entire night. There was a great turnout and we had a great night.
Mummy cupcakes for the Pinterest win!

Jaxon wanted to dress up like Kylo Ren for actual Halloween so he could match Luke. They made a pretty cute pair.
This is the first year that we have gone out trick-or-treating. Jax was pretty excited to start out. As soon as we got to the first house and he got his first couple of candies he was ready to go home and eat. Ryker wasn't very sure about trick-or-treating until he got his first candy and then was ready to go all night. He thought is was the best thing ever! We didn't go too long then went home to pass out candy. The boys thought that was just as fun as the trick-or-treating. Ryker kept trying to take candy out of the bags when he dropped candy in.
